iFORCES (Institute For Operational Readiness and Continuous Education in Security) is a unique, nationwide public and private sector consortium dedicated to practical scientific research and exploration into the application of effective practices, next-generation methodologies, and continuous learning and performance technologies for the acceleration of Security, Law Enforcement, First Responder and Military readiness.
The tragic events of 9/11 have highlighted our Nation’s need for unified and rapid response to prepare and strengthen our Country against the greatest challenge of the new millennium: terrorism.
The front lines in this new war are the men and women of our Law Enforcement, Military and First Responder communities as well as a vigilant and prepared citizenry.
Our ability to swiftly advance and measure training, operational readiness, and human performance will be critical to our Nation’s security in the coming years.
iFORCES is a dynamic and collaborative effort of scientists, researchers, innovators and leaders from the Federal, State, Local and Private sectors. The institute’s goals are to pursue vision, innovation, scientific research and practical applications of science, technology, standards and best practices in the domains of operational readiness, human performance and continuous education for security. |
